Snuggle time

Today is a bit chilly, and the snow is flying. Loren is on his way to work soon. It's a great day for finishing laundry (as if that's ever finished at our house) and snuggling in for a long winter's nap. Tonight we will have some homegrown chicken and Ree's Creamy Herbed Potatoes. We'll also watch a video to supplement our study of Early Renaissance art. Then we'll get everyone cleaned up for church (and possibly Christmas pictures) tomorrow.

What kind of weekend activities do you have in mind?

  1. I worked this morning and had a nap this afternoon. Then I helped sort food for the church food pantry from the Boy Scout/Girl Scout food drive. Now I'm going to eat my evening meal in front of some TiVoed shows. But your weekend sounds better!

  2. I got up this morning, fed the squirrel, then cleaned the house from top to bottom, fed the squirrel again, then raked and blew leaves from the yard, began tearing out the garden, did my aerobics video, made supper, gave the girls their bath, watched a movie, fed the squirrel again, and went to bed!

  3. I did a few chores around the house, but my rocking chair by the woodstove, and a few musical instruments, kept calling me, so I spent much of the afternoon playing music. Then in the evening I went to our friends' annual barn dance and played more music! It was a blast, but now it's time for bed.
